This RSA Motor Insurance Database website ('this site') is offered to you by RSA. Access to and use of this site is subject to the following terms and conditions which you are deemed to have accepted by accessing this site. If you do not wish to accept the terms and conditions you should not access or use the site.

Definitions

In these term and conditions:-

'RSA' means Royal & Sun Alliance Insurance plc (registered in England and Wales No. 93792) of St. Mark's Court, Chart Way, Horsham, West Sussex RH12 1XL.

'you' and 'your' includes, where applicable, any person whom you permit to use your user identification.

Use of the Site

This site is directed at policyholders who hold motor insurance cover with RSA and are located in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland and is designed to assist you in maintaining up-to-date insurance records and complying with the requirements of the Motor Insurance Database Phase II ('MID Phase II'). You must use this site for this purpose only and must not use this site for any other business purposes whatsoever.

Passwords and Security

Access to and use of this site is only available to you and users authorised by you using allocated passwords and user identifications. RSA will not supply your password and user identification to anyone other than you.

RSA will issue you with a user identification and password. You are responsible for ensuring that user identifications and passwords are kept secure and are not disclosed or used otherwise than in accordance with these terms and conditions and the reasonable directions or recommendations of RSA. You will notify RSA [mid.support@uk.rsagroup.com] at the earliest possible opportunity if you become aware of or suspect any unauthorised access to or use of any user identification or password. You will be responsible for all activity that occurs under any user identification or password issued to you including all or any misuse or unauthorised use of the user identification or password issued to you.

The Internet is not a totally secure medium and so if for any reason you obtain access to information not relating to you when using this site please treat the content in confidence and as privileged and notify RSA immediately.

Access Restriction

RSA reserves the right to deny in its sole discretion any user access to this site or any portion of the site at any time and without notice.

Warranty and Indemnity

You agree not to use this site for any purpose that is prohibited by these terms and conditions. • Some of the policy information displayed on the MID Phase II section of this site is transferred directly from the RSA source database and may contain errors. Vehicle information provided by RSA is based upon information received from you and at renewal so may be out of date. You are responsible for correcting and updating such information.
  
  
• You are responsible for ensuring that any new policy information you input is correct, up-to-date and is in accordance with all of the requirements of the MID Phase II, including complying with all time limits that may be specified.

RSA does not warrant that this site will operate without errors or that it and its servers are free of computer viruses. RSA will not be liable for any data lost or any equipment or software replaced by you as a result of you using this site. Further no warranty is given that this site shall be available on an uninterrupted basis and no liability can be accepted in respect of losses or damages arising out of such unavailability or inability to use this site or any of its functions.

RSA will not be responsible for any misuse or unauthorised use by you or any other users of the RSA Motor Insurance Database website system or of the user identifications and passwords, nor for any disclosure of confidential information where you have failed to comply with the security requirement provisions set out in these terms and conditions.
